Walk with Ease!
Join the Arthritis Foundation’s “Walk with Ease” program, which is proven to reduce the pain of arthritis and improve your overall health.
This 6-week program, sponsored by Southeast Seniors and led by SES nurse Maria Duwenhoegger, provides motivation and tips to safely make walking a part of your everyday life.
If you are age 65+ and can be on your feet for 10 minutes, even with a walker or cane, you can join!
Walk with Ease program can help you:

Reduce the pain of arthritis

Increase balance, strength, and walking pace
-
Build confidence in your ability to be physically active

Improve overall health
Place: Van Cleve Park rec center in Minneapolis
Date/time: Mondays & Wednesdays, 2-3:30 pm (2:30-4pm Oct. 23 only)
Sept 16, 18, 23, 25, 30
Oct 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21 & 23
Cost: $35/entire series (please contact the SES office if cost is prohibitive for you)
Note: Please plan to walk one extra day at home for each week of the program.
